We are pleased to share two important updates with you
Today, the Handshake team announced that the mainnet will be released for miners around February 3rd. This means that trading $HNS on Namebase could be made available as soon as February 7th and the first series of names registration could be available as early as February 17th. If you haven’t already, you can refer more friends to the waitlist to get bumped up on the list!
Second update, we are officially announcing our “educational series”. We believe that shared knowledge can incubate wonderful applications. Our educational series will cover the key ins and outs of Handshake’s protocol and Namebase’s role as the custodian of handshake names.
For starters, we have listed out some topics we believe are fundamental to developing the knowledge you’ll need to bring more real world use cases to life. This content will be made available on our blog for now.
Our plan:
Publish 1 piece of content each week
Facilitate discussions and Q&A in our community channels (i.e. Discord, Twitter)
Evolve the content based on any feedback
Gather your feedback on what other content we should create
What format will we create:
We ran a quick Twitter poll to see what types of format our community prefers. Based on the results, we have decided to focus on blogs and videos. Here are the results from the poll!
Twitter poll to determine the format(s) for educational content
Twitter poll to determine the format(s) for educational content
Interested in suggesting topics?
You can submit your suggestions to us here. Our team will review and select based on the popularity and importance of each topic. As with any new community, the access to knowledge and ideas is critical for building a deep understanding of the journey ahead.
Thanks again for being part of the early Namebase community, and helping us enable freedom and safety on the internet.
